NGC 7023, Iris Nebula

About image

NGC 7023, also known as the Iris Nebula, is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Cepheus.
Probably the main star responsible for its illumination is a seventh magnitude star enveloped by the nebula, together with other less bright stars born from its dust.
The distance of this nebular complex is about 1400 light years.
(info from Wikipedia)
As can be seen in the image, all the area  around NGC 7023 is rich in dust.
