M2

About image
M2 is the first globular cluster in Messier Catalogue, visible in Aquarius constellation

It is a remarkable object, with diameter of 16’ and visual magnitude of 6.3; it has a very bright core and this has obliged me to combine long and short exposures in order to not saturate it.

M2 is 37,500 light years from the Sun.
