About image
The nebulae Sh2-207 (center of the image) and Sh2-208 (slightly higher) are two H II regions located in the constellation of Camelopardalis, bordering Perseus.

Sh2-207 was initially mistaken for a planetary nebula due to its ring-like shape: it is located approximately 11,000 light-years from Earth.

Sh2-208 has a smaller apparent size: its distance is uncertain, ranging between 7,000 and over 27,000 light-years depending on estimates.
