About image
This emission nebula is visible in the constellation Cassiopeia and surrounds the open cluster IC 1590.
It is sometimes called the Pacman Nebula because of its resemblance to the famous character of the videogames
The nebula appears furrowed clearly from a dark vein, which crosses it in an east-west direction.
The image was obtained from my urban location with heavy light pollution and in evenings with poor transparency.
